I'm Nobody! Who are you? (288)by Emily Dickinson
I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!
How dreary—to be—Somebody!
How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Bog!
I think lots of people may desire to be a star, so do I. When I was little, I always imagined I was a super star, even the most famous in the world. However, It was all the daydream not reality at all. While I grow up little by little, I understand that being a somebody is harder than being a nobody. Especially many paparazzi and media players are quite rampant now. A somebody nomatter where you are going, who stay with you it might be pulished by some opposite ways. What's more that famous people cannot do anything wrong. Nobody is perfect. We're only human so all of us must make some mistakes. But if they do anything wrong, people will show it exaggeratedly and bear it in mind deeply. Therefore, by knowing so many bad things I don't want to be somebody any more. Nobody can live more free and unrestrained. Besides just do our best and we will success one day as well! And remember..... Nobody is nobody!
